On May 21, we are rolling out the red carpet to celebrate Oakland's public school teachers. We mean that literally: we rented a 25-foot red carpet. Join us in the beautiful Great Court Gardens of the Oakland Museum of California for a casual evening of fun and appreciation. Please RSVP by May 15.
We'll have complimentary food, wine, craft beer, music from DJ Odiaka, games, swag bags, and opportunities to win great prizes. (Prizes announced soon!)
Last May's party brought together 200 Oakland teachers (see photos here), and this year we're expecting an even bigger turnout.
